JUST A YARN FIEND, SELLING CROCHET WORK TO SUPPORT MY ADDICTION

Professionally, people know me as Maria, a young, ambitious, goal-getting woman born and raised on Chicago's northside. I'm a proud product of Chicago Public Schools and a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. For over a decade, I've built a successful career as a marketing professional in various industries at several Fortune 500 companies. Although I'm still making strides in the corporate world, crocheting is what I like to do in my personal time. I was taught how to crochet at the early age of 6 by my late grandmother and best friend. And ever since it's been my favorite hobby and most addicting habit. With about 30 years of crochet experience, it wasn't until 2020 when I decided to share my personal talent and handiwork with the world under the name, Worsted Behavior. I am especially grateful to be able to do what I love and receive so much support along the way.

Thanks for joining me on my latest journey.
